Upgrading my GPU from Integrated Intel GMA 950

This is my first time upgrading GPU, and I came across this site for my computer http://www.4allmemory.com/index.cfm?...model_id=62361

But my motherboard corryville 2
http://www.pacificgeek.com/product.a...531&C=304&S=-1

It looks like my pci express x16 slot and the pci slot are too close to each other.

I think geforce 8400gs is a good upgrade, but no matter what model (size, fan, or fanless), it doesn't seem to fit. What Should I buy/ do for GPU upgrade?

Do you have cards in the PCI slots? If you have one card, move it to the end slot. If you have both slots filled then you pretty much out of luck adding a video card. Almost any video card will be too wide.
And you will probably need a new, bigger PSU to run a video card.

Yea, I have 2 pci slot fill , but I can remove the 56k modem, which I never use, and keep the wireless card. What card should I get btw, is geforce 8400gs good enough for watching movies online, and older game (not much)..., the reason I think i might need it because I just ordered a LG 23 inch monitor, don't know if gma 950 can run it smoothly. As far as I have research, gma 950 support widescreen 16x9 and the monitor native resolution also.

GMA950 will run any monitor size in 2D/movies. Games, even older ones, may become a problem at higher widescreen resolutions. The 8400GS will be a minor upgrade, nothing spectacular.

The power supply in a eMachines is not suitable for a video card. The GMA 950 is fine for anything but games, and there is no way you can turn a eMachines into a good gamer anyway.
