Extending my desktop

I am sure someone can point me in the right direction.

I use my PC for gaming stuff and want to extend my desktop. I want to use 3 monitors and have them all display different stuff.

Example: If a rocket shoots across the screen I want it to start on the left continue to the middle and then on to the third monitor on the right.

What kinda of switch or cable would I need to buy to do this?

Stretching the Windows desktop is not tough, but having a program or game work across all three screens can be tough. Most will only recognize one screen.

The best way to go is one of these: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/th2go/

Otherwise, you need multiple video cards and probably running some games in Windowed Mode or editing their configuration files to stretch the picture. Check out www.widescreengamingforum.com
