Question about new Samsung Monitor

Ok, bought a new monitor last night, its a Samsung Syncmaster 2333SW. This is my first LCD, been using a older 17inch CRT before this. I am having a issue though...when browing the internet, or dragging chat boxes around the text blurs up badly, also on MMOs where you can rotate the camera in 3rd person, everything about you blurs up. However in First Person Shooters i don't notice any blurring at all. Also, was looking at some images just now and when i scrolled horizontally the images kind of broke up as i scrolled, kinda like part of the image moved over faster. No clue if this is just how LCDs are or i have a defective one. Its suppose to have a 5ms response time, so figured there would be no blurring or ghosting. Anyone know what would be causing this? If needed the specs of the computer is

Foxconn A79A-S
Phenom II X 3 710
EVGA GTX260
CorsairXMS2 2G
OCZ StealthXtreme 600W

Never had any problems before on the CRT. Just wanted to know if anyone knew...otherwise i might change it out for a new one.

Look in display properties and disable/or enable Clear Type.

Ok, tried that, but still the same thing is happening. Also disabled the edge smoothing all together but it is still blurring.

Are you running it at native resolution (1920x1080)? If not, the display is not going to look good no matter what you do. Try reinstalling the video drivers.

Unhappy

Well tried that...a couple times, but still the same.

Kind of hard to explain, idk if this will help determine what is wrong. But about the picture, when its in the browser and i scroll over use the left or right arrow key i get a single horizontal line running up the picture as a scroll. If it use the middle mouse button to go left or right i get many horizontal lines, only way i can describe what they do is, they jerk up or sideways.

Well did some switching, put the family PCs LCD and connected it to mine, the pictures were still doing that...so connected my CRT and it does it there too so guess thats irrelevant. Though the blurring is still rather annoying, it doesnt blur at all on the CRT, but on the Samsung it blurs majorly. The family PCs LCD blurred some, but not as bad. Or maybe it was the same, my eyes are running together now...

And she was beside me Ooh, she's not young Her dark red hair, her white soft skin
Now, run to the mirror in the bathroom, look She's coming in here I can't live through each slow century of her moving
The smooth hissing snakes of rain...

You have issues with your video card if it's doing it with other monitors.
