New Monitor trouble

Not having much luck recently with monitors, for those of you who saw my other thread. I ordered a new monitor off newegg a few days ago. The ASUS VW246H, just got it less than a hour ago. Well hooked it up, everything worked fine, adjusted the brightness, decided to try a game to see how it looked, well played for about 3 minutes, suddenly a bright blue line showed up going up and down the screen, completely across the screen. Im guessing its dead pixels, which case i guess i have to RMA it. But is there any way at all to fix this or is all i can do is return it? Heres a picture of the screen

What a headache, thanks for any advice.

Well was blue...now white.

No it stays. Seems to show no matter what, even when the computer is off and its searching for a input it shows, on the ASUS splash screen it shows.

Might be worth mentioning, if i put light, very light (im not making the colors distort or anything, not bending) pressure on the top and bottom where the line is it goes away.
