Xbox headset jack size converter
I did some research and apparently the xbox 360's headset is a 1.8mm jack size. I want to use it with my computer and I was wondering does anyone know of a 1.8mm to 2.5mm (the headphone jack size I think) converter? I've googled and amazoned and I still can't find the right thing. Thanks!
If this isn't possible, could you recommend a gaming headset that's cheap but not too cheap .

You could build an adapter but you would probably better off buying a cheap headset. I have never used it but chances are that THIS Plantronics headset is better than the Xbox one anyway. Assuming you have a speaker system setup, keep in mind that the only way to use a single ear headset like this (just voice comm in the ear piece and game sounds in speakers) is to have two sound output devices. I accomplish this by using a sound card for game sound and onboard sound for voice comm.

There aren't really standards for audio connectors smaller than 2.5mm....xbox, cell phones, etc are all proprietary and vary in size and length slightly.

If the xbox supports it and you can find a headset at a reasonable price, I don't see why not.

I want a headset for my PC, not my xbox. Like take the headset from my xbox and use it with my PC rather than go buy a whole new headset. But I think I'm just going to buy a USB headset.
