Whenever I view videos online (YouTube, etc.), they always very briefly stutter and pause, continually. My cable internet download speed averages around 875 kbps--does that necessarily mean I'm going to get those effects at that download speed?
Frankly, I can't afford a higher-fee Internet service... Can I tweak my system in any way to get rid of, or minimize, those unwanted effects? I'm running under Win XP Pro, SP II; AMD Athlon 2800 1.25 Ghz processor; 2 GB of RAM. Display is an Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT video card. Thanks for any feedback.... |

Pause the video and wait a bit before starting playback. The problem is that you have to wait for the data to be downloaded before it can be played. Once it actually downloads, it will play smoothly.
If you're a firefox user, some people like this plugin for visiting youtube: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6460
