Webcam audio out of sync

I've recently upgraded from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit Windows7 and my webcam won't record the audio and video in sync. I've tried 4 different pieces of software and get the same problem. I've tried recording audio with the inbuilt mic and from my usb device, same problem. The audio seems to get progressively more out of sync the longer it goes on. I used a couple different audio and video codecs with the same results.

I assume it must be associated with Windows7, or the fact that i'm now 64 bit seeing as it worked fine before. I'm on a Core2 Duo 2Ghz laptop with 4gb RAM if thats any use. Any ideas?
