Asus lcd monitor

hi guys,

I am looking to purchase this monitor, asus 24" VW246H on newegg, and I am using Radeon HD 3850, and I am also planning on installing the touch screen add-on on this monitor for my daughter who is autistic. I want to know would this monitor work well with the graphic card I am using, such as resolution, sharpness, clarity, etc....... I want to install one of the paint software for kids for her so she could paint with her finger, she can't use the mouse very well. Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Asus and Samsung make the best LCD monitors on the market, hands down.

Actually NEC and Eizo make the best LCD monitors in terms of video quality. Asus monitors are all TN panels, which may be suitable for gaming, office work, surfing, etc. But not for any serious graphic work.

It is a good monitor. After having a Samsung being crap when I bought it, decided to just buy that one. Sadly though the first one i got from newegg developed a blue vertical line on the screen after 20 minutes. Though im sure that was a isolated incident, the replacement works flawlessly.
