Graphics Card Help

Hi - New to the forum.

I have a Dell Dimension 2350 and need to put a new graphics card in. I think it has a Intel Intergrated 845g at the moment.

I need one which will allow me to just play games such as Sims, Football Manager etc.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The only slots you have are legacy PCI, and you only have a 200 watt power supply. I'm afraid that there aren't any cards that the power supply can handle that will game any better than the onboard video, and even with a power supply upgrade, legacy PCI video cards don't have enough bandwidth to game well at all. It's time to start saving for a new computer.

Thanks for reply.

The one that is currently installed is the manufacturers fit I think so is there absolutely no way I can do a slight upgrade?

Thanks

I'd be afraid to put *any* video card in there with only 200 watts. Researching requirements, even a lowly Nvidia 8400GS carries a 350 watt recommendation. You could probably put a Radeon 7000 in there, but that's no better than the onboard video. At least your onboard video supports DirectX 9.
