Graphics Card Help
Hi - New to the forum.
I have a Dell Dimension 2350 and need to put a new graphics card in. I think it has a Intel Intergrated 845g at the moment. I need one which will allow me to just play games such as Sims, Football Manager etc. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

The only slots you have are legacy PCI, and you only have a 200 watt power supply. I'm afraid that there aren't any cards that the power supply can handle that will game any better than the onboard video, and even with a power supply upgrade, legacy PCI video cards don't have enough bandwidth to game well at all. It's time to start saving for a new computer.

Thanks for reply.
The one that is currently installed is the manufacturers fit I think so is there absolutely no way I can do a slight upgrade? Thanks |

I'd be afraid to put *any* video card in there with only 200 watts. Researching requirements, even a lowly Nvidia 8400GS carries a 350 watt recommendation. You could probably put a Radeon 7000 in there, but that's no better than the onboard video. At least your onboard video supports DirectX 9.
