direct X

i have a question about viedo cards. if i buy a card that supports direct x 10 will it support lower versions as well?(etc 9.0)

Yes. Cards will always support lower DirectX versions. They will not support higher versions.

thank you very much. the reason i asked is because i have some software that requires D x 9 and i wanted to make sure if i bought a direct x 10 card it would still work. sorry it took me so long to respond. my computer hasn't been getting internet *sigh*
