Computer not detecting my monitor

ok hi, my computer doesn't detect my monitor, i turn my computer on and turn on monitor and it says no signal, if i play around with restarting, unplugging and replugging enough it will eventually work till i shut it off, i've ruled out a monitor issue, because i just bought a new monitor and am having the same issue, it works fine on other computers, and any monitor does the same thing on mine. I've also ruled out a video card issue, because i've tried reinstalling drivers, does nothing, and i've tried connecting the monitor to the motherboard port instead of the video card one, still same issue. Any ideas what could be failing in my computer? I'm pretty sure it has to be a power supply or motherboard issue, but they are both relatively new, under 3 months, anyone whos had this issue before or knows anything about it, please respond, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

well i don't think it could be the cable, because this issue started with my old monitor and I bought a new one that came with a new cable and same issue. P.S i left out in my specs that my power supply is a 420W that came with my case.

That's a quality unit. Break the computer down and follow this procedure:

Having problems with a new build? Try this.
