Video playback problem

I had to recently replace the HDD on my older HP Pavilion510n. The machine works fine and streaming video on YouTube or whatever works perfectly. When I try playing a video on a disk or on my HDD, it's out of sync and freezes. Weird. Anyone have an answer? Thanks.

Sounds like you missed some software when you installed that new hard drive.
Your first steps should be to re-trace your steps after the OS install.
