video card ratings
I need some help picking the best video card for a system I am building. The there cards I have on hand are as follows
Geforce FX 5600 with 256 ram , radeon 9550xl with 256 ram, and a radeon 9800 pro with 128 ram. If I could get you guys to rate them in order from best to worst that would be great. The computer that I plan to put it in is a 2.4 gig celeron with 512 ram. I will use this computer for mostly older games like command and conquer first decade and age of empires 2 and the original unreal tournament , but if it will support it I would love to play command and conquer 3 and maybe a few newer first person shooters if I can, thanks for all the help Ben |

The Radeon 3850 is a good amount faster than the 8600GT, however you will need a good power supply for the HD3850 because it's power consumption is a good amount higher than the 8600GT.

Threads merged, please do not start multiple threads on the same subject.
Please sit back and examine what you have a lot more closely. Are your cards AGP or PCI-E, and what type of motherboard are you dealing with? |
