DVD to hard drive
I have a 30 minute dvd movie that I would like to install on our classroom computer so I can either click an icon to play it or ideally, insert a link to it in the Power Point program we use for that class. Can this be done? How do I do it?

What format is the move in and or what application do you currently use to watch the movie?

We use Cyberlink. As to the format, how can I tell? I would guess maybe avi.
I think this was converted from VHS tape to dvd. trulad |

In theory you should be able to copy the dvd to a folder on another pc. And you'll need to make sure Cyberlink is installed and it should work.

Use the freeware DVD Shrink to rip it to your hard drive. If it was a conversion from a VHS tape, then almost any media player will play it.
