Inexpensive Audio Solutions?
Greetings all
Great forum here. I need an inexpensive audion solution for friends and family (read children) to watch a large plasma screen and play games on it. Currently they are trashing the TV's speakers. But instead of purchasing a home theater type stereo etc Im wondering if I cant just buy a small self powered speaker system like the ones you would use for a desk top. Two small speakers, a subwolfer, and thats it. Any suggestions? Thanks

It depends on what audio outputs the TV has. If it has a headphone jack, it would be a simple matter to plug a simple set of computer speakers in there.

I would look at what Logitec has to offer in the way of computer speakers. They are generally pretty good bang for the buck.
I'm just curious, if they are trashing the TV's speakers then what is going to prevent them from trashing the even nicer and more vulnerable computer speakers? Maybe they don't deserve new speakers? Who wants to have to listen to Barney?
