does anyone know how to record sounds playing onthe computer, like background music on a website?

The recorder software that comes with that SB Live you have should have an option of "what you hear is what you get". It records whatever is playing on the primary sound device at the time.

thanks. but is there a place to download it, because this cd is 2 years old. unless the recorder was never updated since.
