Boom Speakers buzz when mouse is moved

I recently reinstalled windows and ever since my speakers buzz whenever i move the mouse...very annoying can i stop this? any suggestions at all welcome! thanks.
PS...could it be due to the extended speaker cable i am using since i also relocated the comp?

My sisters did that once or something, and it was due to one of the wires not plugged in all the way. Make sure the power, and audio cables are all plugged in. Her speakers would buzz, but it wasn't due to mouse movement, so all I can say is make sure all of the connections are fully plugged in.

Thanks, I will try that...I think it may be the Direct link to the CD drive that isn't plugged in properly!

I had that problem with onboard sound and all I had to do was mute the line in. Don't know why, but it worked.

Talking

Uhhhhhhh

It was an ASUS motherboard that gave me the problem. I don't remember which model. I have also had the same issue with an Intel board as well. I think they both had the same onboard sound chip though.

hmmm...it's not onborad sound though and muting the line in didn't work...Still haven't cracked my case and checked all the connections yet though...could be that.
