It just means that the first generation 1x AGP slot wont be compatable with that card. Your board must be AGP 2x or higher.

I have an MSI motherboard. I'm thinking about a two year old motherboard. Do motherboards from the last few years support AGP 2X?

It most likely will but the only way to know for sure is to check with MSIs website. What model of motherboard do you have?

I had posted it some time a while back. Right now, Im writing an essay so I don't have the time to restart the PC and copy down the model number.

Is there another way of finding out the model without restarting or opening up the case?

Here are the specifications for your KT7 Turbo2 Motherboard: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/produc...-6330%20Ver5.0 Your board supports up to AGP 4x, so that card will work just fine in your system. HTH
