MP3Wizard advice needed

MP3Wizard Software :

Does anyone know why I get this error message when I try to record a cassette through the line-in of the soundcard ?

"WaveInOpen" The actual device can't record this format.

Soundcard is using CMI8738SX chipset

Help appreciated.

No, its a PCI soundcard.
Anyway, I tried Goldwave and its great, although its many functions makes the pc-wary user intimidated (at least I know my hardware is working) That's why I started with MP3Wizard. Great simple interface (now if only I can get it to work...)
