Ti 4800?
Hello again,
i recently came across TI 4800 cards on sale... what is this? Its not a higher end than the 4600 is it? Where does it sit on the "ti scale"? |

Those are Ti cards with 8X AGP. I forget if the 4800 is a 4400 or a 4600.

Like how VIA made Kt-400 boards that are really like Kt-266... BUt they support 8X.

i have come to my conclusion that, (may not be 100% correct but..)
Ti4800 - Ti4600 with AGP 8x Ti4800SE - Ti4400 with AGP 8x Ti4200 AGP 8x - self explanatory

thats nice and helpful, thanks guys. Although i'd expect the "SE" to be the 4600 instead... since adding letters to the end of names makes them sound better =D

AGP 8x wont really benefit anything at the moment, only at super high resolutions is it really slightly noticeable
|
