How do you *MAKE* a gif?

Sorry is this is the wrong forum...

Anyone know if you need a special program or whatever?

what do you mean make a gif? you can just save the pic as a .gif

If an animated gif is what you mean ,
i use animation shop for this
(comes with paint shop pro) . its really a quite simple process, just can take time,
depending on what you want to make.

I wanted to make something like pcnoob has in his sig...Its cool, and doesnt look that hard.

animated gifs can be done in adobe imageready, thats the best animated gif program i ever used

nope sorry i dont, i dont actually know if there is one full stop, i think you only get that sort of thing if you pay, a bit like a good sound editing program, you wont find a free one!!

I used to use "gif animator"...I think. I'm not sure if that's the exact title or who it was done by, but it had the logo of a unicorn. That wasn't much help, was it?

Now, I use imageready.
