ati radeon 9000 atlantis 128ddr video card
ok i am thinking about purchasing this video card from a website and i currently have a radeon 8500le 64mb video card will i see a major improvement in the graphics or no or just a little difference in games like rainbow six raven shield and black hawk down???? or wat video card would u recommend thats under $95 from pricewatch

the 8500LE gets about 2700 more 3DMarks than the 9000, which tells me its way better for games

so its the radeon 9000 128ddr version better than the 8500le version

The 8500 is better.
Stay with your current card until you can afford a 9500 or 9700Pro.

ATI played stupid number games when they produced the 9000, they should have named it the 7700 or something.

That's why they have renumbered the 8500 to 9100 - to put it in the proper ranking slot.
Ryan - you will not find any $95 video card that's even as good as the one you already have, much less better. Wait a while till the prices of today's high end cards drop - or come up with $200+. |
