hooking computer up to big screen

I have a 55 inch widescreen hdtv and I'd like to hook my computer up to it and use a higher resolution than 800x600. I have a asus v8200 deluxe geforce 3 gfx card and use the s-video out. Is there another component I can use to get over 800x600, or are new gfx cards putting out higher res via s-video?

Thanks

This is what you're looking for...

http://www.digitalconnection.com/FAQ/HDTV_4.htm

The ATI All In Wonder 9700 is the only video card afaik that has component outputs standard. So it's either the VGA converter or a new 400 dollar vid card .
