Windows Opening Theme Question

Normally when Windows starts, you hear the infamous Windows chime or if you're using a Creative sound card, the clap of thunder like I do. Is there a way to edit that, so instead of those sound, a song from your MP3 list or something would play? Just curious...

Yup you can just convert the mp3 to a .wav file and you may want to trim it to just an intro of a song so it doesn't play forever. Then change it in your sound settings in control panel.

If you ever feel like experimenting with themes, you can go to themeworld.com. There are gazillions of themes (wallpaper, sounds and cursors) to download for free.
