problem with 5.1 speakers on A7N8X board
Hi
I have the Asus A7N8X MB and bought myself some Logitech Z-640's. I put the correct cables in their respective slots, but only get sound out the front speakers. I went into the Nvidia control panel to setup the speakers etc, but have had no luck. I also went into the Windows XP sound section and put the speakers there to 5.1 speakers. is there a known problem with the onboard sound on the A7N8X motherboard or am I setting them up incorrectly in XP? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks Haggis |

Sorry Wolfie
I should have specified that. I havew the delux version. I have been taking a look on some Asus forums and they mention that Asus and Nvidia have their own versions of drivers for the motherboard. Printed off some stuff to read after work. Not sure if anyone has had this problem, or can offer a quick solution or advise me as to which drivers to get. |
