GeForce FX 5200
How does this card compare to the current GF4 Ti series? I'm just wondering because newegg has cards with this chipset for only like $105. Should I take this to mean that this FX series is kind of like the MX series? Thanks!

I am also interested on what people have to think about this card. At 100 bucks it seems like a good price.

Im thinkin its gonna be just like an MX series card, because the 5800 chipset cards are closer to 400 bucks, and have the massive cooling systems. How good can the 5200's be, most of the cards at newegg were about $100 and didnt even have fans, only small heatsinks.
my 2 cents... |

Just found this article on tom's hardware. Haven't read it yet, but it probably has some good info on the card. |

The Ti4200 is still somewhat better. It can even be found for under $100.
The 5200 Ultra brings DX9 to the budget arena and competes with the ATi's budgets cards quite nice. |
