PC for video capture advice..

Would like to get some advice on this system. Cost is a factor.

Antec Solution SLK1600 w/300W PS Case
Pioneer DVD-RECORDABLE DVR-A05 Drive
Pioneer 16X DVD-ROM Drive
Floppy drive
Iwill IEEE 1394 Firewire contoller
TV Leadtek WINFAST VC 100 XP Video Capture Card
Western Digital 120GB WD1200JB Hard Drive
Asus A7N266-VM AA nForce 220 Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 1700+ Processsor
Crucial Micron 512MB PC2100 SDRAM

With Windows XP Home the cost is about $869. shipping included. Could you use this to capture digital camcorder and VCR video and write it to DVDs? Where would you make changes, remembering that cost is a factor?

The only possible issue I see is that's a micro-ATX board and it only has 3 PCI slots. You may run out of room. It does have decent onboard video, sound, and LAN, so that should help.
