PLacing cards close together

I was just wondering, when I get my Radeon 9800, should I move the sound card a couple of slots down, so they don't overheat being next to each other? I mean, it wouldn't hurt would it?

Thanks

No big deal. As long as nothing is in the first PCI slot, you will be fine. And not because of heat, but because of IRQ problems.
