Video Card Question
While I've built a few computers before I'm still quite a newbie so I know this is a pretty basic question but like I said I haven't been doing this very long. Anyway, I'm building a new computer and I want to be able to have two monitor outs so I can use both monitors simultanously. Do they make specific video cards with two monitor outs, or would I need to install two video cards? Thanks in advance.

The majority of video cards come with 2 outputs for 2 monitors. You can see the 2 outputs on this video card. The blue and white connectors are for monitors. http://www.blargoc.co.uk/reviews/con...00/page2.shtml When looking at cards, just look at a picture of it to see if it has 2 connections. Hope that helps.

The simplest and least expensive way is a "dual head" video card.

If you do end up getting a video card that has both a VGA and DVI port, like the one Alaron mentioned, you could always just use a DVI > VGA converter and hook up the monitors that way.
