ugh, too many video card choices
this is my system: abit IT max (w/AGP4x 1.5v slot), p4 1.8, WD SE caviar 80 gig, and a 8-year-old gateway monitor that will explode and kill me one day...soon. oh, and i'll have winxp on there.
i'm not a gamer, i basically just wanna be able to plug in my monitor and do a little digital video editing (i already have firewire). here's a couple i'm looking at: PowerColor Revenge II SiS 315 64MB SDRAM 4x/2x AGP Video Card w/ TV-Out - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3762 eVGA RIVA TNT 2 - http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=322601 ATI Excalibur Radeon 7000 AGP 4X 32MB SDRAM Video Card http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=320906 i know the first one has twice the ram, but i'm not sure if it's cheaper because it's on ebay, or because it might be a crappy card. they'll all be between $35-45 w/shipping to AK, which is part of why i'm compairing them. Which should i get, if any of those? thanks - Reuben |

I'd not get any of them.
If you are into video editing, you should get an ATi Radeon All-In-Wonder. Could be even the 7500, altho a better choice would be the 8500.

If it's in your budget I agree with Nuke. If All-In-Wonder is too high, then at least the Radeon 7500.

The Radeon 7000 you mention will be just fine for that intended use, it's a far better card than the SiS or the TNT2. If you are using Firewire, the All-in-Wonder is a waste.
