Headphone jacks in front of case

Hello,
Any body know any thing I can do to get headphone jacks in the front of my case?I really don't want to spend 40 bucks for an Asus iPanel,is there a cheaper alternative?

Hi sam21,

You can build one yourself using these instructions. I made the hole in one of my bay panels and it works great. Hope that helps.

It was pretty easy to make with the parts listed, just connected the wires and drilled a hole in the faceplate for the jack. I've also used this type of switch before, and it works good but it doesn't go onto the front of the case.

This might be what you are looking for. With the FrontX system, you can add other connections on later, and change the configuration around. Check it out: http://www.frontx.com/

V1 should work for you. It will plug into the sound card. Instead of connecting to the ports on the back, it will plug into the pins on the inside of the card.. http://www.frontx.com/cpx090_v1.html HTH
