I just got this card yesterday and I installed into this new build last night. When I looked at the images I thought that I need glases... double ghostly like letters on all the windows open. Why? Is a WinFast A340 LeadteK on a 3Ghz P4 and a Intel D845pebt2 mobo. The monitors work great on the other rig. Letters look like they leave a shadow behind with a change in color also....?????? Any advice ?

The drivers for that new video card may have been improperly loaded. Video drivers are very picky and you have to remove all remnants of the old video card's drivers before you load the new ones. You install the new drivers over the generic Win OS driver. Not sure how it looks in WinXP but in 98 it looks like big, blotchy colors on your monitor screen.
Look at this thread: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.p...threadid=40704 and especially at the info posted at 7:09 and 7:13 by Kubie and DrZaius. If that doesn't help, let us know and we will walk you thru it.

If Spyda's suggestion don't help, lemme go back to the drivers. Did you completely remove the previous Detonator drivers? By this I mean did you bring your video driver status to the point where you have loaded the Standard VGA drivers?
The new driver needs to be loaded on top of the Standard VGA drivers only, otherwise, because of the complicated nature of video drivers, they can give you a bad install. |

What happens when you install that card on "the other rig"?
If it's still making you see double then rma it. A replacement card would be in order. |
