The 4600 appears to be a bit faster. Most of the cards at newegg have to 4600 rated at 650 MHz memory and 300 MHz core. The 4800s look like 550 MHz memory and 275 core. I'd go with the radeon. It performs extremely well and runs on the 9700 Pro chipset.

The Ti4800 is much faster unless AA is used. A Ti4800 non-SE should be clocked as fast as a Ti4600.

just to clarify: The Ti4800 is much faster compared to the 9500, not Ti4600.

Here are 3 reviews with comparisons that include the 9500pro, the TI 4600 and the Ti 4800.
Read and decide for yourself.

After having most every nvid since the tnt2, there is no going back to that poor image quality and cheap mipmapping that nvid does in every card.
Ati, baby....

Maybe this'll help. A Ti 4800 is just a Ti 4400 with 8X AGP.

how about the 9500 non-pro it can be modded to a 9500 all the time, and can be modded to 9700/9800 so i pick 9500.
