fqpissed Vid card troubles!

Hey guys, I have a problem. I have a nvidia gforce4. I installed it and all looks well. I have a dell, so when I start my pc, the dell logo comes up, then XP Pro loads with the blue status bar scrolling to the right, then after that goes black and the welcome to xp screen should come up, nothing happens. My factory vid card is integrated into my motherboard, so I can switch back to that and have a pic, but nothing on my gforce??? Anyone know what I need to do?

Did you disable the onboard video before installing the new video card? Have you gotten to install drivers yet or have you not been able to get into Windows?

Does your power supply meet the minimum wattage specs for the card?

What instructions does Dell give about changing video cards for your model?
It sounds as if you missed a step somewhere .

Possibly in a handbook Dell supplies its customers? I too suspect you have overlooked a step somewhere...

There should be a manual with your rig and you could always check the Dell site for tech support.
