Direct X version?
How do you find what Direct X version you have? Because I have the Radeon 9800 Pro and I want to know if I have the latest version. Also, what is this "Direct X runtime" thing I keep seeing?

Another thing, if I have "Direct X Diagnostic Tool" ("dxdiag" at "run") does that mean I have Direct X?

You check your DX version by running dxdiag. Switch to the 'DirectX Files' tab and make sure it says, "No Problems Found".

Type dxdiag and on the first page at the bottom you can see what DX Version is installed.
The current Version is DirectX 9.0a RJ

If your current system is running fine, there is no need to download the upgrade.
