powercolor radeon 7000

has anybody had any trouble with the tv out on a powercolor radeon 7000? i hooked one up to a tv, and the image it shows the desktop in black and white and it jumps around the screen, but on the computer there are windows and stuff in front of the desktop. anyway, i'm downloading the latest drivers and i'll install them when i get back to the machine, but has anyone had any problems like this before? maybe there's something else besides drivers that i'm missing.

Make sure that the signal settings are set to NTSC (for US). It may be that they default to PAL which is European.

We see the same thing here when they default to NTSC instead of PAL.
