Nvidia Driver Windows Approval

When installing nvidia driver 43,45_win2kxp_F dated March 03 to Geforce 3 ti 200 card I got a warning not to continue because Windows had not tested its compatiblilty with xp etc. So I aborted. Whats the skinny on its safety. Have any of you done this and is it working out ok? How can I check further about its safety? Should I post this on the XP forum? Thanks,

I think I've gotten what your talking about but I could be wrong. I'm assuming it was one of those "this driver is not digitally signed" bla bla bla things. This is ok and you can continue. Just make sure you aren't downloading the drivers from a non official source, just to ensure safety.

the drivers come out so often that by the time they are digitally signed, they are 2 years old, i think the early 20.xx drivers are now digitally signed

Using drivers that aren't digitally signed are usually ok. It just means that the company doesn't necessarily want to pay Microsoft just have them tested when they know it works fine.

Thanks guys. That's what I thought. I am going for it. Instructions for this driver say not to run a virus scan when installing for your information. Ofcourse you may already know this. thanks,
