moniter overheating?

My moniter is giving off alot of warm air from the air holes on the top of it can anyone tell me what to do to cool it down...should i just shut it off for a while?

Mine also gives off quite a bit of heat never had any prob's with it though and its on atleast 15 hrs a day for past 2 years but if your really concerned I would suggest best thing is shut her down for awhile

That's normal - that's what the holes are for, to let the hot air out.
