Pricewatch.com is a US site - pricewatch.co.uk is what those folks should use.
I just did a search there - Search Results for _radeon 9600_ ordered by Price Brand Description Price Ex VAT Price Inc VAT Delivery Costs Vendor Name Dabsvalue Radeon9600Pro 128MB DDR AGP £136.16 £159.99 Up to £7.05 dabs.com Dan - even if one of our vendors did ship to the UK, by the time you finished with shipping cost, taxes, customs duties, and currency exchange fees, the price will be higher than from a local vendor - and it can take a month for the stuff to get there. It's best to advise our international members to use vendors in their own part of the world. |

sorry for my blatant naivete....
I guess I went wrong when I assumed that www meant just that. Dealing only with US customers in my own online business I have become galvanised to the rest of the world...I guess you could say I live in a John Lennon imaginary world. but I'm not the only one........ is the .co.uk a faily common extension? could I add it to a url that I suspected had a uk counterpart and have a shot at finding it? |

Yes, co.uk is most common in the UK, unless they pay an American registrar to get a .com, as Dabs does.
Pricewatch.com lists American vendors. Pricewatch.co.uk lists UK vendors. Other countries have their own price comparison sites. |

actually, quite a few sites in UK have .com at the end, thats why instead of just adding a ".co.uk" to searches, i do a google.co.uk search for sites just in the UK, this includes all sites in UK, even if they are a .com
