Sound Card to stereo speakers
Is it possible to use a stereo-to RCA cable to connect my SB Live! DE sound card to my stereo speakers and thereby use the stereo for sound output instead of my normal PC speakers?
PC speaker out------->Stereo Phono In. Thanks, NPP

Dont use the phono input. You can use any other input but that one. Phono input takes a much small signal level then the rest of the inputs.

Yup, I learned that the hard way. Now I'm using the CD input on the stereo and it works great. I now have my Stereo connected and working as my front speakers and my old PC speakers connected and working as my rear speakers (ie. a four speaker setup with two unrelated pairs of speakers). Sounds great.
