PC Speaker
My son borrowed my speakers.
Can I get sound, more than "beep stuff", from the internal speaker? Thanks Mike |

Some sound cards will actually put "sounds" to the internal speaker, but it's nothing you really want to hear...

Hi Guys,
Some older AST machines had internal on-board sound that went to the PC speaker but I haven't heard such-like in years. Time to 'borrow' your own set of speakers Mike until yours come home! Regards, Declan (fredwest)

That would be interesting - a piezo speaker that supports Dolby 5.1!

Did you have 1 gig the whole time or did you(need to/want to) upgrade from 512? If you upgraded has it made a big difference? I just got a Dell P4 2.53 4550 533 128 2700 60gig hd XP 512 2700ddr from crucial is in the mail. I think 640 should be ok when it gets on line. |

I installed a GB of DDR when I upgraded to the P4G8X, and before that I had a GB of Rambus, so I really can't help you.
