How to dissable it. When I open WMP9, the volume control on it does not control the volume in taskbar. Not the master volume, but the wave volume is being conrol by winamp. Its very annoying and loud esspecially when I change from speaker to headphones. My headphone is a philips SBC HP090 that does not have any volume control on it.

I've noticed the same thing happening, but I've come across no way to change it. I think that's just the imbedded sound control for winamp. Just be careful putting those headphones on before changing volume levels back!

Well-the winamp thing is easy-under preferences go to outputselect the Direct sound output.
Now my trouble has to do with wm9. It does control all the speakers-but occsionally I get some files where the volume only controls the front speakers. The settings are same all the time. I ddo not understand why the movie files are like that. Help |
