Geforce2 MX

A buddy of mine just gave me a geforce2 mx that he was no longer using. I know it's outdated, but how well will it run current games like C & C Generals? Also, is it much of a hassle to replace it with a Radeon 9500 Pro sometime soon down the road?

I run an old gf 2 mx200 64mb in a duron 800, 265mb sdram, win98se. The newest games i got running somwhat properly were mafia, sof2, nolf2 deadly dozen2. sof2 went the best of these, mafia and nolf had the most problems (occasional stuttering) . all games were with practically lowest settings off course
(800x600, rest near minimum)

I recently got me a gf4 ti4200 128mb on an athlon2200, and i must say its quite the improvement :-) .

Normally speaking, replacing video cards isnt such a hassle. you do have to watch out with older mobo's because the connectors are totally different between 4x and 8x and so (also the voltages) so always check everything proplerly before you change.
Also always delete the old vidcard in device manager before replacing it.
(change it to 'standard graphics adapter)

I've tried running C&C Generals on a Duron 950MHz with a GF2 GTS-V (faster card than the MX) and it was very slow.
