convert .mov to .mpeg?
can you convert a .mov to .mpeg? i downloaded all the animatrix movies, but i hate quicktime player, and want to save them as mpeg so i can use media player.
is there a converter so i can do this? Cheers

www.tmpgenc.net it is a very good MPEG encoder. Load the mov into tmpgenc and then encode it directly to MPEG.

does it work with audio locked files?
the other encoder i used said that they are "audio locked files that the audio cant be changed or taken off, this is a quicktime copyright feature that the creator can apply if they wish" |

WinMPG is a good converter I dunno if it will do audio locked files it will convert most anything into most anything else.
