Moniter Flicker

Hi, I have a Dell M990 Monitor and have recently started noticing an unusually amount of flicker, but its not continous just happens once in a while, I've adjusted the refresh rate upto 100 Mhz which is the highest rate supported yet no help.

Any ideas?

Is it actually running at 100Hz though. Make sure you have the inf file for your monitor installed and if you are running XP, download one of the refresh fix programs that are available for your video card. I run XP home and without the refresh fix, I can set it to 100Hz... XP says its 100Hz, but looking at the OSD on the monitor, it showed 60Hz (the true reading).

Well, the monitor also mentions on the OSD 100Hz, if I run the display at 60Hz there is no flicker. The Graphix Card is a Gainward ti4800 se 128 MB ram...

The monitor could be getting tired - try refresh rates between 60 and 100, how does it look? I run mine at 85.
