digital output
I have a Sound Blaster Live card and I want to output digital audio to my receiver. I have a coaxial cable that I thought would work, but it does not fit the plug in the back (it's too loose). Yet, it is obviously not a plug for the square-shaped end of an optical cable. It is just labled "Digital Out." What kind of a cord do I need for this? Can I get an adapter to use the coaxial input on my reciever? Thanks!

Could you supply a pic or the sound card model? (ie Soundblaster Live! 5.1; Audigy 2, etc.)?
I see two possibilites: An RCA connector, or a 1/8" connector. I know you can get an RCA to coaxial adapter, but I'm not sure about the 1/8" connector.

It's an old Live! Platinum but without the Live! drive.
