Lightbulb Screen Blackout!!!!!

Hello ppl,

heres the thing.... I have a TV card (Pixelview Pro, crapy one) and everytime I turn it on aftrer roughly half an hour or so the screen goes blank. Then I have no control of keyboard, mouse or anything...sound is still there though !
the only way back in is to reboot it via the main button.

I have looked into powersaving settings and changed it so it reads followng;
hibernate= never
standby=1 hour
shutdown harddrive= 2 hour

no other settings within TV card are related as far as i can c.
Not quite sure what else to do...its really annoying !

what say you ?

Many Thanks

Welcome to PCMech, EDD32!

Could be a heat-related problem. Try checking your temps when this happens.

Do you have another video card you could swap with the one you have in the system now?
