I have combined a 2 sepaker 1 subwoofer with a 2 speaker= two front and two rear. When I open aplications like winamp, games, winxp startup all speakers are in use maning there is sound coming out from all of it. But for wmp9 there is sound from all speakers-but the volume meter does not control the rear speakers. I've got it working the day before-until my pc crashed-winxp-then I did the same thing-nothing happen. I made wmp9 use direct sound output-nothing happen. Frustrating!

C-media sound card-creative built on to motherboard. Supoorts 5.1 channel surround. I can make up to 6+1 speakers.
I have noticed that it only happens with one video-so its an isolated case, so not that much fuss. Last edited by mystvearn; 05-25-2003 at 10:34 AM. |
