Is it possible to copy the DVDs I rent? I know there are a few different data types that are recorded onto DVDs and most DVD recorders only record one type. IS this true? If there is "one drive records all" can someone refer me to the brand? I could also use a DVD for dummies link if there are any out there.
Much Thanks! |

This forum does not advocate the theft of Intellectual Rights and Copyrights, but there is a Sony DVD recorder that supports all current DVD recording formats.

It's legal to make duplicate copies of DVDs you own, for purposes of having them at more than one location or backups, etc.
For this there's tons of info out there, just run a Google search. Copying rented DVDs is in fact illegal, so ya can't discuss it here, sorry. |
