My old computer still runs really quickly but struggles with newer 3d games, i was wondering if this could be due to the old graphics card (geforce ddr - i think?)
My mum has a geforce2 mx 100/200 in her computer but she doesn't play any games, so i could swipe that one and put it in my machine if it was better? Looking at this i could have asked which is the better graphics card? it would've been quicker. so i will Which is the better graphics card - Geforce ddr or Geforce2 mx 100/200 and is there a big performance difference betwen the two? Thanks for any help in advance Dave -- PC numbnut P.S. a little off topic but if i wantto link mine and my brothers pc to play games do i need a serial modem cable or a null modem cable? |

I don't think you will notice much, if any, difference between those 2 cards.
Any serial cable networking is going to be far too slow to play games. You need network cards and a crossover CAT5 cable. PCI 10/100 network cards are very inexpensive. |
